New publication: Change and Adaptation in Socio-Ecological Systems
We are pleasure to present you his new Journal that will be officially launched next month: Change and Adaptation in Socio-Ecological Systems (CASE). This Journal aims at promoting applied interdisciplinary and multidisciplinary research. In particular case studies that not only identify problems but that offer solutions and valuable experience for others.
CASES offers a forum for R&D on socio-ecological systems functioning under climate and global change and on strategies and policies in how to adapt to the future. We address scientists and practitioners in environmental management & policies, land use planning and socio-ecological system development.
The scope of CASES is to publish original papers, review and synthesis papers, and short communications, and research letters addressing an interdisciplinary point of view on change and adaptation of socio-ecological systems from management unit level to policy level. Thematically, CASES aims to address all studies that have a focus on the impact of global change and climate change, on functioning or services of socio-ecological systems and related human-environment interactions, on understanding, monitoring and proposing innovative approaches, tools and technologies to adapt and bring forward system management and development.
