The course is oriented to researchers and practitioners in the fields of conservation biology, land use planning, environmental impact assessment, large scale forest planning, spatial analysis and landscape change monitoring. Participants should have some knowledge of landscape ecology (including the basic notions of habitat fragmentation and landscape connectivity), basic GIS skills, and a good English level.
